Melanotan 2 ( MT-2)

Melanotan 2 (MT-2) is a synthetic cyclic heptapeptide analog of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH), developed as part of melanocortin receptor research. Unlike the linear MT-1 peptide, MT-2 adopts a cyclic structure that confers high binding affinity across the melanocortin receptor family (MC1R through MC5R), with particular potency at MC3R and MC4R.
